The aim of my researchis to observe and analyse the Barbell squat as it relates to the technique. When observing the technique faults were identified and analysed.
Properguidance and coaching points were given to see if the correction would developproper technique. The outcome variable of my research was the Barbell backsquat in which it was measured on a four point technique measurement scale (Myer et al 2014). The predictorvariable of this research was the surveying of the Barbell back squat and asuccessive implementation of remedial exercises for the barbell Back squat(Myer et al 2014). LITERATUREREVIEWThe Back squat iswidely regarded as one of the mosteffective exercise used to enhance athletic performance because it necessitates the co-ordinated interaction ofnumerous muscle groups and strengthensthe prime movers needed to supportexplosive athletic movements, such as: jumping, running and lifting (Myer et al 2014). The Back squat has fourphases: Isometric/start position, Eccentric lowering/Approach parallelposition, lower Isometric/maintaining lower posture, Concentric raising/original posture (Yule 2005). The relevance of the proper technique exercisein the back squat is believed to reduce the risk of injury and can also beuseful for growth in specific muscles (Comfort and Kassim 2007).
METHODThe motive of thisresearch is to obtain concrete interpretation, of the affirmative procedures ofhow to carry out the Barbell back squat and what outcomes and abilities occur. This research will gather quantitative data and I will use a Pre and Postdesign test. In reviewing a positive stand to progress by alteringinappropriate techniques and the ability of the barbell squat through development and restorative exercises. In the warm up therewas a 8 minutes jogging on the spot in the sport centre. After the jog theparticipant did 20-30 jumping jacks along with some dynamic stretches of thebody parts which will be in full use.
The participant was asked to do theregular squats, building the required muscles. The tips given to the participant was; extending ofarms over head, keep back very straight, do not look down as this will cause the back to bend and they will have a bad posture. These were some of the occurrence discovered to enhance a betterand safer squat. The participant will take place in three(3) pre trials done ona 4 point technique measurement scale in which each trial consist of four repetitions. After the Pre trial analysisthere was a mean score calculated. After analysing the pre test remedialexercises were prescribed.
This session lasted for twenty five minutes. Aftereach sets there is a two minute break. After the pre test there was a three minutes break then there was remedial exercisegiven in which the remedial exercise were to be included in the post
